Flutist. Composer. Improviser. Educator. Runner.
I have been drawn to new music for as long as I can remember, and my work as a musician quickly evolved from flutist to flutist-improviser to flutist-composer-improviser during my college years. These facets of my career are central to my work as an educator through teaching and speaking engagements.
I’m a runner, too. The change of pace that came with COVID-19 presented me with an opportunity to train for and run my first half marathon, and it has been a life-changing experience. Here’s to new goals and challenges!
